Jeffrey D. Blackman, MD, FAAP

Pediatrics

Dr. Blackman received his certification from the American Board of Pediatrics in 1992 and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He graduated from Dickinson College summa cum laude in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, and in 1989 received his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine. After completing his pediatric residency at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Dr. Blackman joined Advocare Marlton Pediatrics in 1992.

With over 30 years of experience as a pediatrician, Dr. Blackman is passionate about providing personalized, evidence-based, compassionate care to the families he has gotten to know so well as well as new patients to the practice. He has been recognized as a Top Doc for Kids in Philadelphia Magazine, South Jersey Magazine, and SJ Magazine. He is affiliated with Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, NJ and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

His special pediatric interests include follow-up care for the premature baby, infant and child development, behavioral health, dermatology, and adolescent medicine. Dr. Blackman is also proficient in ear piercing for patients six months of age and older and holds monthly “ear piercing” clinics at the office. In his spare time, he enjoys weight training, gardening, working on house projects, reading on the beach, and traveling with his wife to visit his four young adult children.
