Dr. Waxman is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He graduated from Rutgers University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and in 1981, he received his medical degree from The Medical College of Pennsylvania. Following completion of his pediatric residency training at the University of Maryland in 1984, he worked at a pediatric practice for twelve years before joining Advocare Marlton Pediatrics in 1996.
Dr. Waxman has been recognized as a Top Physician for Children on several occasions. His clinical interests include Behavioral Pediatrics, child development, and overall promotion of a healthy lifestyle. He enjoys and values the ongoing relationships that he builds with his patients and their families.
Dr. Waxman resides in Cherry Hill with his wife Jo-Ann and his dog. He enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren, as well as time at the Jersey shore, biking, hiking, history, playing bridge, and photography.
